Congrats Aaron, hope to see some more VGC content on the YT channel soon!

  5. Baz Anderson says:

3rd in Europe! I’m good again!

  6. DaFlo says:

    6. in Europe with >1800 and about 17 battles left is ok for me! drug_duck highest rated European Master B) B) B) (Queen)

  7. drug duck says:

can confirm Queen is my second cartridge!

  8. Wouldn’t be that happy with 38th in UK, but given I was in hospital for two of the three days I can’t exactly complain!

  9. PreyingShark says:

    Got 5237th. Heck yeah!

  10. NinjaSyao says:

bidoof! It really sucks having to work on Friday and Saturday and not having enough energy to play on Sunday as a result.

Ended up 11th in the Netherlands and our top guy only had a 1625 rating O.O Just like the last time we have really low scores and only 50+ players participating… are we that bad or do we just don’t care enough? Personal goal was to get around the same score as last time with only half as much matches played which I did and the opponents were far stronger this time so mission accomplished. Next goal: reach 1650 and above to get 1st place in the Netherlands!!!

    PS

Odd that Cj is only 24th place in the Netherlands since he’s the only one of us who reached Top Cut in the German National  And Lolnub is 26th place with a 1497 score, WHAT THE HECK?!!! Okay! Now I’m seriously starting to think we aren’t taking this as seriously as we should…

  11. 2girls1muk says:

    10th in Australia, ~520th overall.

Could have done much better, but overall I think that I learned alot about my team that I will be using in the upcoming nationals.

In other news, I’ve finally cracked the Battlespot Doubles 1800 barrier for the first time today, which means that I’m now 2nd (or 3rd) in Australia!
Not bad using for using VGC 2014 team!

  12. 2girls1muk says:

    oops…double posted

  13. R Inanimate says:

9th in NA, 2nd in Canada. narrowly missing out on the 8CP unless stuff happens.

The overall ratings for this one definitely ended up lower than last time. Probably a number of potential reasons for that one.
Looks like Japan retakes overall #1 in this one, managing to outdo Sejun for the top spot.

Interestingly, the T16 ratings for NA vs EU is pretty close this time. Last month’s IC had NA’s T16 ratings on average about 30 points higher than T16 EU.

  14. PreyingShark says:

It seems the Smeargle Dark Void craze has finally settled down, didn’t encounter a single Smeargle this time and the Global Link data says he was the 235th most used mon as opposed to Kangaskhan being 3rd.

What? That 235 just is his Pokedex number. >_>

  15. Pokester says:

I got 107th Worldwide with only 18 battles in my Division, I’ll take that anyday. I would have scored a lot higher if I battled more, but securing top 128 is all I really wanted to do.

  16. NinjaSyao says:

What? That 235 just is his Pokedex number. >_>

Tch! They really should have made that more clear. Any usage rankings besides the top 12 anywhere on the site?

  17. Advancer says:

Grats to 2Girls1Muk for placing 10th in Aussie masters!

also Grats to ZzamanN for clearing 3rd in Aussie Juniors/Seniors and 52nd in Juniors overall!

I had a final score of 1574, placing 41st out of 232-ish Australians in masters, and 1878th overall. It’s an alright score for my first XY online competition, but I actually peaked around 1620~ on day two before losing a couple of key battles on the start of day three and subsequently sticking it out in the 1550s. In addition to a few poor plays on my part, I’d probably attribute my losses to my unfamiliarity with some ‘mons in the meta and a few strategies / combinations that I had not really prepared for. I have thought about writing a post or an article up on it as I feel I have a fair amount I could say about the team I used that might be of interest to some people, but for the moment, I’m holding off as the Australian Nationals are a fortnight away and I’d like to direct my energies to practicing for my performance there.

  18. bombe32 says:

Ranked 253 with 1704 points. Pretty okay, considering I only played 35 matches. If only they would make these competitions when you are not supposed to study for exams!

#1 in my country, beating a total of five other people. B)

Congrats to aguy and Bargens for finishing 1st and 2nd in Juniors as well! I finished 7th in Australia going 9-1.

Also congrats to PokeAlex for finishing 1st (again) worldwide for Juniors!

  20. Thowra says:

Wow, no one broke 1900 this time. Pretty cool to see that I battled a few of the top players though. My team was quite solid this time round, pity I can’t use it for the Aussie nationals as I’m overseas.

Next year, folks. Next year! >: )

  21. Arbol Deku says:

i’m Yusuke! So i’m #1 in Spain #8 in europe and #41 overall. Congratulations to the winners 🙂

  22. melevin9 says:

Wow i didnt even manage to make top16 europe – I couldve easily made top8 lol

Gratz to Albert for getting top3 overall. I was kimd of dezed by how well you played in our match but now it makes perfect sense. You couldve finised #1 if it wasnt for my hax

There really isnt much of a dutch competitive community to begin with, so I’m not that surprised really. I ended up being 5th in the Netherlands, I didn’t play that much and the second day kinda got me with bad decisionmaking from myself. No matter though, guess I’ll just have to make up for that during the washington lcq :P

  24. Shaman says:

    I’m happy i got 3rd with this =D

Expected to make top 15 but didnt expect to be top 3..

  25. Dreykopff says:

can confirm Queen is my second cartridge!

    God shave the Queen.

Man, Seafoam Islanders so good in this one. And I only played 3 games… RIP. Congrats to everyone who got something from this marathon.

Eduardo probably is EmbC and I’d heavily assume that TrickSage, Koryo and Hibiki are…TrickSage, Koryo and Hibiki! :P :D

  26. TheJFrenzy says:

    Jeez, if I wasn’t lazy I could’ve easily placed :/

  27. sohaib says:

I missed two spots from coming into top 16 in USA and 98 overall in the world . Not bad I will happily take that 😀

  28. solarman64 says:

To think if I had the same rating as I did in the may ic I could have gotten some solid cp but ill admit my team was kinda sloppy never really tested some of the mons with another but I did all right.

  29. GreySong says:

I knew I should have stopped at 1818 when I had the chance! ROFL But 13th place in NA?! So happy!! Can’t wait until next week!!!!
