Amarillo Takes Fourth Nugget Bridge Live Tournament

Twelve challengers entered the Fourth Nugget Bridge Live Tournament this week, each looking to be crowned champion in this, the fourth tournament hosted by Biosci. This week was focused on preparing for the Worlds Last Chance Qualifier and was single elimination from best of three matches. While last week saw some technical difficulties with Nintendo WiFi, the tournament ran without a hitch. Amarillo also had no difficulty powering through his opponents, finishing with an 8-0 record, going undefeated through four rounds to be crowned this week’s champion.

Amarillo may not be one of the most decorated players, but after this victory and his victory in last Thursday’s Pokemon Online Live Tournament hosted by TDS, Amarillo is definitely a player to look out for. Amarillo’s schedule was frightening, bringing him up against Solace, JRank, and Arbol Deku before coming up against three-time Worlds qualifier Dan in the finals. Undeterred, Amarillo didn’t lose a single match, easily taking the title of Champion for this week.

Thanks to all who participated in the third live tournament, and congratulations to Champion Amarillo! We’ll see you back next week for a repeat of the Worlds LCQ style tournament hosted by Cassie. Until then, keep checking our Online Tournaments Forum for more chances to compete against the best of the best.
