Won against llllllllllll 2-1. It was a really awkward set because of connection problems he had. He outplayed me the first game and the second he disconnected but he was extremely cool about it and gave me the win. The third game I got lucky and brought the right pokemon at the right time and won. Thanks for the battles and best of luck in the future!
2-1 against Ananyymous, ggs!
Lost 1-2 against Mikewando.
Of course I run into the one person who chooses to run this nature on a certain Pokemon…^^ ggs.
I won 2-1 against Lati. First game the RNG decided to go full derp on both sides, but overall very good games.
Won 2-1 against EmbC. The journey continues!
Confirming GG’s. Go Fatum. Keep the dream alive
Lost to King of Kars 1-2
Very ggs, didn’t bring enough gimmicks
Confirming, very good set
Darlingsensei and I have troubles to find a time. He was inactive for a whole week and responded this Friday to my first message, said he´d be able to play around 10 weeknights EST, which is 4am my time. I was hoping to play him today around 4pm my time, but it looks like he will be busy again.
I really want this battle to happen and will stay up THE WHOLE NIGHT if necessary today, since I´m pretty sure he´ll be busy tomorrow as well.
If he doesn´t show up, I just say this:
Activiity post.
Makiri, I included you in our conversation.
I beat Havak 2:0 in a very hax sided set of matches. I am really sorry dude, you deserve better as you were the better player in those sets. ggs and best of luck for Nationals!
I lost to Massi 2-0 in some good battles.
Game one, I probably made one wrong Pokémon selection and there was a Play Rough miss on my side that might have been costly.
Game two, my adjustment worked against me as I had less of an answer to one of his Pokémon (good change by Massi), resulting in me having to take a sizeable hit to do anything back in return. A Will-O-Wisp miss on one of his switch-ins missed, meaning one of his Pokémon had a free roam later in the game. I got some luck toward the end with a couple of flinches, but I was in one of those positions where I needed much more luck than that to have a chance.
I don’t think I made many bad plays at all, just the team match-ups were pretty tough against me each time and Massi played almost perfectly each game as well. Can’t have any real complaints, so good luck in the next round Massi and well played! Good games!
Beat Olympus 2-0
I lost to Stormfront 0-2.
I won Baz Anderson 2-0
One of the least pleasurable experiences I’ve had from an online tournament for a few reasons.
Whatever, that’s Pokémon.
Lost game 1 cleanly but close, game 2 suffered from Fire Blast burn so even when I was able to PuP twice I was effectively at +0 (2 intimidates) and the burn wore me down from what would’ve been 1/2 health and +2 to 0 health at +0. Sucker Punch crit Rotom from full health and let it get taken out before it could kill anything as well. Lost 0-2 to Samuel996. Fun game 1, I’ll be salty about game 2 for a while.
Should probably just man up and get over it but I hate losing that way. ggs!
Confirmed. Really nice game one but ugly hax in game 2. Thanks for being more gracious than I probably would have been.
Lost to Enigne 2-0. Very poor matches from my part, but I suppose it can happen to anyone. Best of luck in the rest of the tournament.
Confirming I won against Lock 2-0
Lost to DarlingSensei 1-2.
Yep.
A critical hit rock slide made all the difference g1(though a flinch there would mean the same)
g2 I adjusted and outplayed DarlingSensei.
g3 he finally realized he had a Mega in his team and used it well.
good games 2 and 3.
Beat Wolfey 2-1. GGs
RIP in peace bracket predictions
I had a heart attack when Lajo lost but after when Wolfey lost I can breate again because surely most of us has picked those 2 to make it deep on the bottom of the draw
Wow, we have a lot of underdogs won in round 1 of topcut.
GG to bracket predictions.
Excellent Job Riley (Gengarboi) and DarlingSensei. You two knocked down two of the toughest players in the major tournament.
I won 2-0 over crazysnorlax in GGs.
dang it guys, you’re all ruining my predictions.
DarlingSensei works out his business issues and defeats Lajo 2-1.
Beat baileygoodstuffs 2-0, ggs!
I won raikoo 2-0, good games man! Very haxless game, it was fun.
