Pokémon World Tournament Event for 2012 Junior Champions is Live

Can’t wait to play the teams of the Top 4 Junior Division players from the 2012 Pokémon World Championships? Well you don’t have to! The Pokémon World Tournament event has begun a day early so you can download it to your game right now. All you have to do is fly to the Pokémon World Tournament (PWT) to the south of Driftveil City. Access the computer terminal to the left of the PWT receptionist (it’s the one that doesn’t look like a regular PC) to download the event.

The actual tournament plays out like any other PWT event. The game seems specifically set up to match you up against either Top 4 World Finalists Brendan Zheng (Babbytron) or Kippei Takaki in the first round followed by World Runner-Up Brian Hough in the second round and finally World Champion Abram Burrows in the finals. This means that to play every trainer, you’ll need to play at least twice because you can only battle one,  not both, of Brendan and Kippei in one playthrough!

Update: Brendan’s team was incorrectly set and has now been fixed. If you haven’t downloaded the event yet, you’ll get the correct version of his team when you do grab it. The Pokémon Company International is working on allowing those who downloaded the event re-download it so they can play the corrected team as well.
