VGC ’13 Championship Points Update: Germany Nationals

Two down, one to go! With both the Italy and Germany National Championships finished, we only have the event in the United Kingdom and one online International Challenge left to determine the Top 16 players that will receive an invitation to the 2013 Pokémon World Championships in Vancouver. Please note that some players have not opted into Player Rankings and as a result, they are not listed. Until they opt in, they will not have a bye nor will they have their Worlds invite. If you have not opted in to the Player Rankings, please do so by following these steps:

  1. Go to the Pokémon website
  2. Log in.
  3. Click “Edit Profile.”
  4. Scroll to the bottom and select: Yes! I want to participate in all available Play! Pokémon Programs including Player Rewards, Championship Points, and Play! Points. By selecting this preference, and providing valid contact information, I am eligible to earn special prizes such as travel awards, scholarships, and event invitations.
  5. Click “Save.”

The Top 16 players in Championship Points will have a bye in Birmingham. Only the European rankings have been updated because no North American standings have changed since our last update. You can find the full standings here.

  1. Scott says:

I noticed this when I was posting in the UK thread, but it’s worth noting there’s actually two 250s not opted in, not one. Not like their Worlds invite is on the line or anything…

  2. Firestorm says:

I think it’s just one in Masters:

    Italy

    1. [IT] Matteo Gini (http://nuggetbridge.com/author/matty/)
    2. [DE] Eloy Hahn (Dragoran5)
    3. [DE] Matthias Helimoldt (Tyvyr)
    4. [ES] Jordi Picazo

    Germany

    1. [IT] Alberto Gini (http://nuggetbridge.com/forums/user/400-braindeadprimeape/)
    2. [DE] Jamal El Moutaoikil (http://nuggetbridge.com/forums/user/294-toazdt/)
    3. [IT] Lo Giudice Luigi
    4. [DE] Michael Riechert (http://nuggetbridge.com/forums/user/1492-michilele/)

Michilele got 250 from Germany and 110 from Italy for 360 who you might have missed in that.

  3. Scott says:

Ah, there it is. The bizarre weighting threw me off.

  4. Massi says:

Noel Leon D (Juniors) is my little brother 🙂
Anyway, good luck to everyone playing in Birmingham!

  5. woopahking says:

Will I ever get put on this lol?
Also will I get a bye in Birmingham(here I go again)

  6. Plusle says:

I am still in the t16 even though I have not got any CP from IRl events lol.

  7. Firestorm says:

Will I ever get put on this lol?

Hopefully soon or someone is going to get a nasty surprise when they get bumped from 16th to 17th… With your 250 CP, you have your Worlds invite locked so there’s really no need to worry about a bye or anything.

  8. Ha wow. 17th. i assume i wont get a bye for birmingham right?

  9. Firestorm says:

Nope. You have to be in the Top 16 to get a bye.

  10. CrimsonBlastoise says:

Damn this made things a lot harder

  11. Does anyone know when masters registration starts

  12. MANMAN9657 says:

Can you still compete in worlds if you are top 16 after the U.S nationals?

  13. Firestorm says:

Do you mean can you compete if you are not Top 16 in Europe? No. But there is a Last Chance Qualifier event the day before Worlds that you can play in to try and qualify.
