Hey, does anyone know if the Australian Nationals is an open event or do I need championship points to enter. There aren’t any VGC events where I live so I don’t have any points but I would really like to compete.

You don’t need any championship points to enter the National event. It is recommended though if you can, to pre-register on the Saturday though, to help with registration for the Sunday.

  2. MegaPinsir says:

    It is free to enter.

    Thankyou!

  3. EspyyVGC says:

I’m fairly happy with 3rd! Looking forward to nationals ;]

But as for the standard teams… What works, works for a reason, right? The fact that most seniors in the tournament actually used teams that were “legit”, ie they contained some t12 mons, like Kangaskhan/Gengar (w/ Sash)/Talonflame shows that we’re improving! A lot of people have mentioned to me that they’ve improved because they’ve been watching Cybertron’s or Alex Ogloza’s videos! I’m happy with that :]

  4. YGOkid8 says:

thought i’d mention too that I am #12 in masters, devlyn 🙂

  5. Campber says:

Pretty solid results from the top cut. Hopefully at the Aus Nationals I can do better than I did at the Melbourne Regionals, though.

  6. Haro32 says:

I was happy with coming 4th but I agree with EspyyVGC, even tho they are standard teams they are standard for a reason, because they are good.

  7. RhombusPKMN says:

Ugh I came 11th in seniors I’m really disappointed in myself. I’m going to nationals for retribution though.
