I never understood why people act like the new Pokémon designs are more like Digimon. Birdramon is no different from Gen 1 Pokémon, it’s just your nostalgia making you think otherwise.

I see your logic and raise you one college level book on deductive reasoning: Animal Crossing New Leaf has a bird character name Lucha who shares many characteristics with Hawlucha. Seeing as we have already crossed Digimon with Pokemon, I don’t see adding a nintendo game as much of strech. If Animal Crossing has classified Hawlucha as a bird type, then by golly it deserves to be on this list!
