Genesect WiFi Event Distribution
Through an ad on GameSpot that likely went up a little earlier than it should have, we’ve learned that Genesect will be the next event Pokémon after Keldeo and will be distributed using the Nintendo WiFi Connection for Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2. You’ll be able to grab it starting with Black 2 and White 2’s release on October 7th, 2012 at least in North America. The distribution will go until November 12th, 2012. That’s all we really know at this time. If details are different for other countries, you can be sure we’ll update!
In the meantime, don’t forget to grab your Keldeo! We’ve updated our original story multiple times as we’ve gotten more information about the various regions’ promotions so check back to see if your country was added! And if you haven’t already, don’t forget to pre-order Pokémon Black Version 2 or Pokémon White Version 2 so you can actually get Genesect! At this time we do not know if the original Black and White can receive it.
Update! UK Release Confirmed
Looks like the United Kingdom, and likely the rest of western Europe, will get Genesect as well going by this update on the official website. The distribution will last from October 12th, 2012 to November 12th, 2012.
Additionally, more ads have popped up on GameSpot showing that it will come with its signature move, Techno Blast.
