MrFox Conquers the Second Nugget Bridge Live Tournament

Doubling size of the first Nugget Bridge Live Tournament, twenty-four challengers set out to prove they were the best in the land by earning the title of Champion in the second Nugget Bridge Live Tournament hosted by BioSci. Of course, only one trainer can walk away with the title, and this week’s champion is MrFox! The tournament was Double Elimination using the standard VGC 2012 rules.

MrFox’s path to the championship

Fresh off his second place finish at the United States Video Game National Championships, Seniors division, MrFox battled through five particularly difficult trainers, defeating first Unreality, then sandman, FonicFrog, Scott and finally bearsfan092 in the finals to end the marathon tournament as the undefeated champion. Be sure to check out MrFox’s interview with Cybertron for insight into his battling style and personal life.

Thanks to all who participated in the second live tournament, and congratulations to Champion MrFox! We’ll see you back next week for another live tournament and another chance to knock MrFox off of the championship throne! Until then, keep checking our Online Tournaments Forum for more chances to compete against the best of the best.
