Nugget Bridge Circuit Major Sign Ups Have Begun

Didn’t win your Regional this past weekend? Still think you have what it takes to beat the best of the best? Now is your chance! The Nugget Bridge Circuit Major is the perfect opportunity to not only prove you are among the best players, but gain 1000 Nugget Bridge Circuit points for your rating. Those 1000 circuit points means this is the best chance to make a big splash in the circuit and bolster your seeding for future NBC tournaments and grab an invite to the season-ending NBC Invitational.

The Nugget Bridge Circuit Major will be a single elimination tournament, played in best of 3 matches, so make sure you bring your best from the very beginning.  You may not change teams within best of three matches, but you will be able to change teams in between rounds. In a twist from the current NBC Live Tournaments, the Major will be played using the current GBU format, including Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2 move tutors and formes. Matches may be played either on WiFi or Pokemon Online, however if players cannot agree on a medium, WiFi must be used. If playing Pokemon Black 2 or Pokemon White 2 against a player on Pokemon Black or Pokemon White, a player using formes must announce the forme to the opponent. Anything not covered by these rules will be handled at the discretion of the NBC Major tournament host, makiri.

Signups will run from now until Sunday at Midnight PST with the tournament beginning the following Monday, October 22. To join the tournament, post in the Signups Thread on our forums (you must have a Nugget Bridge account to participate). Good luck to all participants in this, the most prestigious online Doubles tournament. Make sure to bring your A-game!
