I’m disappointed with this article because I’m really surprised you put Birdramon that low on the list! I mean really?! It has to be number 1! In fact, every bird on that list should be replaced with Birdramon. It’s that good! Here’s why I think you should reconsider:
Firstly It’s moves. Birdramon has access to 4 exclusive moves in Meteor Wing, Fire Flapping, Phoenix Rising and Mach Grinder.
Meteor Wing may be a weak move, but it has a 100% burn chance and in a meta where physical attackers are everywhere, this move is just too good not to use. It also bypasses Taunt. Take that WoW users!
Fire Flapping has the coolest animation in the game. Yeah it may be a cheap knock off of Fire Spin but come on, THAT ANIMATION!
Phoenix Rising not only sounds like a cool name for my sports car (pimped out with hot rod flames by the way), it’s strong. Like Brave Bird strong, without the recoil! And it has a 50% chance to lower Accuracy, a nifty little bonus.
Finally, we have we have Mack Grinder, the Flying equivalent to Extreme Speed. Yep, it’s also got that sweet +2 priority too. Take that Talonflame!
You also forgot to mention it’s fantastic mega evolution too. By
digivolvingmega evolving into Garudamon, it gains the best ability in the game: Hyper Mode! Giving it a +10 priority boost and doubling the secondary effects of ALL its moves, it’s more threatening than a hungry Jeremy Clarkson!I hope you take these points into consideration and recognise Birdramon and it’s mega evolution to be the best bird ever made!
