46 Players Move to Day 2 of the VGC ’14 US National Championships
The first day of competition is over at the VGC ’14 United States National Championships! 491 Masters divisions players participated and 46 of them will be moving on to Day 2 of the competition tomorrow. Records will be reset in the next stage of the tournament so everybody will be on even ground at the beginning of tomorrow. Here’s who made it:

Congratulations to everyone who made it, keeping your cool during 9 rounds of Swiss, even with a lunch break between, is very draining.

It´s a shame that guys like Bopper, Zach, OmegaDonut or BattleRoom did not make it into day 2, but here´s hope we see some very creative teams and strong newcomers in day 2!

I can’t count on my hand the people I’m sad that didn’t cut, god bidoof. At the same time, it’s just the nature of it all, I’m not surprised by most of those who cut and still wanted plenty in there to cut as well (with a couple anomalies). Trying to separate the best is tough stuff I guess.
Pretty interesting lineup for Day 2. It’s a shame that some of my pics to go deep (Wolfe, Tman, Greyson) fell off later in the tournament, but there’s still a lot of great competition here!!
I’ll especially be rooting for Amarillo, SoulSur, Rushan, Ashton and Simon to make Day 3!
