DarkPenguin67 Takes First WiFi Live Tournament of the Nugget Bridge Circuit
Twenty-six players competed this Sunday in the inaugural WiFi Live Tournament of the Nugget Bridge Circuit Season 1, each seeking to stake their claim to the first points of the season and even attempt to win it all. The tournament was double elimination, best of 1 using the VGC Modified ruleset. After a grueling 3 hours of waiting, DarkPenguin67 took his place on top.

DarkPenguin67 looked at the bracket and knew that a loss would bring him to grueling path through the losers bracket. After being awarded a Bye for the first round, DarkPenguin67 went on to face Nightblade7000 in the second, followed by Lamitie11 and veteran of the tournament circuit Unreality. DarkPenguin67 managed to get the win to make it the semi-finals — just a few wins away from becoming the first Champion. DarkPenguin67 was paired with Mosquito in both the semi-finals and the finals but came out victorious to be crowned the first WiFi Live Tournament Champion of this season of the Nugget Bridge Circuit! For his efforts, he was rewarded 100 points and prime seeding in the next tournament he participates in.
