Japanese Global Link Announces Pokémon Center Cup Tournament

A new online tournament by the name of the Pokémon Center Cup Tournament has been announced here on the Japanese Pokémon Global Link, and this time it will be Single Battles using the standard ruleset players are used to on the Global Battle Union. It will be a Wi-Fi tournament with players ranked according to rating. All Pokemon from the National Dex are allowed, with the exception of Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Celebi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Chatot, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Genesect.

Entry starts at 13:00 JST on October 26th, 2012, and ends at 23:59 JST on November 1st, 2012. The tournament will begin at 13:00 JST on November 2nd, 2012 and ends at 23:59 JST on November 4th, 2012.

The tournament will use Japanese Black 2 and White 2 games. As in previous tournaments, players will be divided in to Junior, Senior, and Master categories. The top three players in each division will receive a pair of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem Poké Dolls and everyone who enters will get a special Musical. On October 27th and 28th each Pokemon Cénter in Japan will hold an offline Pokémon Center Cup tournament.
