Each game will be livestreamed on Pokémon’s official Twitch channel with commentary by Scott, Evan, Duy, and Justin. The Senior and Junior division need to play out their top cut, but our finalists in the Masters division are Alex Ogloza (Evan Falco) and Adib Alam (honchkro13).
*Alex and Adib’s CP will change based on tomorrow’s results
**Mike and DeVon are tied for 16th and we are unsure who of the two will make Worlds

I like how out of those with invites, only one isn’t on Nugget Bridge. This really demonstrates to me how great and successful the community here is. Congrats guys!
they should just have devon and mike battle on stream for the spot (not going to happen i know) or give it to both of them. hate to see either miss worlds after such great performances throughout the season.
Alex ends up not getting the commentary gig, so he goes ahead and finishes no worse than second at Nationals and leads everyone in CP heading into Worlds. I guess that’s not a bad consolation prize. I really like how he got there too… Enters cut as the 8th seed, then ends up topping Ray in his first match up. Then, in top 4, he gets it handed to him in game 1 and is behind to begin game 2, but ends up taking the set anyway. Will definitely be rooting for him tomorrow (sorry Adib!)
Also, major, major props to Ashton. Had plenty of doubters heading into this weekend thanks in large part to his performance in Regionals with unorthodox Pokemon, so he ends up one upping himself and just misses cut at Nationals with the wackiest Pokemon you’ll ever see. He’s not going into Worlds as the favorite or anything but he really deserved that invite. Hats off. His battles were fun to watch.
Seeing the players was also a nice touch to the stream. Everything from Gavin Talonflaming himself to the fancy headwear, I enjoyed it quite a bit! excited for tomorrow’s match already.
Congrats to all of you on your Worlds invites. Best of luck!
Isn’t Cybertron supposed to be there as well ? I know he all ready has his invite .
He earned his invite at Worlds last year, so he’s not listed as it’s a separate thing.
Oh I forgot. Sorry
Really happy to see those two specifically in the Masters Finals, especially after seeing Jon using Confuse Ray Sableye (and that straw hat) in the Semi-Finals against Alex!
I’m really happy to see honchkro in the finals
no steelix tho >=(Hope to see them all in Worlds! 🙂
Where does it say that the top 16 get invites to worlds
Hopefully both 16th places get an invite. I mean, look!
But then again, idk.
