Pokémon 3on3 2013 CoroCoro Cup Announced

Following the unveiling of the Japan Cup as the Japanese VGC qualifier, we have an announcement for the Pokémon 3on3 2013 CoroCoro Cup which will be an alternate qualifier for Japanese players. This time it will be an offline tournament held in Tokyo and Osaka open only to players in the Junior division. The format will be team doubles where players compete in teams of three with individual members from opposing teams facing off against each other. In addition, while each member will have a party of six Pokémon, the team cannot have more than one Pokémon of the same National Dex number. The winning teams from the Tokyo and Osaka tournaments will be invited to the 2013 World Championship Series. We are not sure yet if that means Worlds or Nationals. More details will be released in the May issue of CoroCoro Comic.
