I was rooting for Adib, but it was a good set nonetheless. However, I think the best set of battles I saw all weekend was the Senior finals with Mackenzie vs Zach. Absolutely outstanding set of battles!

  8. LPFan says:

That was an amazing nationals. I’m so proud of my brother to finally top cut for the first time in seniors and grab the worlds invite. Congrats to all who did well and qualified for worlds!

  9. I had a great time at Nationals, placing 26th with a record of 6-2 in Seniors (which is alright).
Congratulations to all that did good in Nats!

  10. glooba says:

I was sooooooooo close to top cut in seniors, I placed 19th with a record of 6-2. I was .08% away from advancing in the senior division- but hey, I cant complain much! This is only my first year!

Congratulations to everyone that participated. I throoughly enjoyed watching it from the comfort of my sofa and the quality was incredible, I even learned a few things here and there!

  12. Crawdaunt says:

Oh man, Falco is the best in the US at pushing that win button (jkk). Shout out to my little man Theo on taking Top 4 and securing his travel and hotel to worlds!

Watched the Masters match yesterday and was super pumped to see Hydreigon out there. Goodra is awesome but come on…. it’s Hydreigon. Awesome job on both of everyone’s parts. Can’t wait to watch Worlds.

Impressive battling and coverage all around. So glad we have channels like twitch now so the community can get this stuff out there. Now if only there were a way to record twitch… Must. hook. VHS. player. to. desktop! lol

Really hoping we get a flood of team reports this next week from Ray, Alex, and the many other players that made a splash.

After getting #rekt by Alex in day 2, round 4 of Swiss, I had a feeling he’d be going pretty far

  18. feathers says:

i was super impressed with seniors finals this year, a lot more than i thought i would be. congrats to both players, and congrats to mackenzie for making super sick plays and taking first. it was also nice to see alex on stage for masters after seeing him at most of the regionals i go to, and congrats to adib for making it to finals as well (alas, without steelix).

When will we see the teams from the event?

  21. Andykins says:

Jon Hu was great to watch.  Def a player that knows to control a match really well, all the while limiting his opponent’s options.

Can’t wait to see what he has in store for worlds

Too bad you didn’t make it Andy.

Alex took me out in the first round of day 2. His team had all of my counters on it.

yeah, I should have played better

  25. yeah, I should have played better

It is the hax gods that caused this. I think I made top cut due to my Wiccan enchanted necklace. That thing was a luck charm.

How did Babbytron place his first Seniors Nats?
