    It was Will-O-Wisp/Protect/Disable/Pain Split.

Gratz to everyone who made cut, can’t wait to see what happens at the next set of regionals!

  3. DaWoblefet says:

LithiumAcid used Kangaskhan / Aegislash / Suicune / Thundurus / Arcanine / Terrakion. From what I remember on stream, Ashton had Mega Charizard Y / Talonflame / Typhlosion / Swampert / Gourgeist / ??? (I can’t remember the last, will edit it in if I remember it).

  4. Life Orb says:

    Ashton’s last was Terrakion

  5. PowerOfNick says:

That was amazingly fast! Or at least, faster than I thought it would be.
EDIT: In looking now, I see that not all the teams are up as yet. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can be of much help :/

  6. HydreigonTamer says:

    WHERE IS RAY?

    Also… Eviolite Clefable tho

  7. Melon Vodka says:

     That’s Clefairy lol

  8.  That’s Clefairy lol

    pfft duh
    Meant Clefairy

  9. JLudicolo says:

Js, clefable is awesome! Watching it on stream it was a sight to see!

  10. Cybertron says:

Wolfe’s team is my favorite so far of the VGC ’15 season. Mega Banette is definitely a Mega I wouldn’t use by itself, but it makes so much sense with his team, and the Vensaur complimented the team perfectly. Very impressive watching his games. Really enjoyed the finals as well, David played well all day and Angel’s team is also pretty fantastic. It was interesting to see an agro playstyle go up against one of the best defensive players in the game for the finals. No surprise that they’re 1st and 2nd in CP now. Looking at the teams that did well this set of Regionals, I think VGC ’15 is making a strong case for the best format we’ve ever had. Congrats to all the other players as well! Ashton gave quite the show with his interesting team, it was very entertaining.

  11. Braverius says:

    3rd Place: William Collins (Wiretap) – Venusaur / Scizor / Swampert / Blaziken / Terrakion / Thundurus

OTHERS (too lazy/tired to look up their place so i’m going to list their place after Swiss)

    2nd (Ben Hickey / DarkPengin67): Kangaskhan / Rotom-W / Volcarona / Sylveon / Garchomp / Gengar
    3rd (Matt V): Alakazam / Audino / Jumpluff / Whimsicott / Slowbro / Chandelure
(Cash’s team in Life Orb’s post is correct. His NB account is his name.)
    6th (PirateLionInferno): Kangaskhan / Heatran / Landorus-T / Conkeldurr / Rotom-W / Thundurus
8th (Scott guy I played on stream that trashcanned me with Camerupt): Cradily / Cresselia / Conkeldurr / Camerupt / Escavalier / Sylveon
    10th: no idea
    11th: (Tommy Cooleen / Tman): Kangaskhan / Clefairy / Talonflame / Aegislash / Rotom-W / Landorus-T
    12th: Thundurus / Suicune / Terrakion / Heatran / Clefable / Kangaskhan
    13th: no idea

    16th: Heatran / Mawile / Landorus-T / Thundurus / Sylveon / Rotom-W

  12. araluen7 says:

what did that araluen guy play again?? his team looked pretty legit

Hey! Thanks for asking, I really liked my team. It was Politoed / Ludicolo / Dusclops / Scrafty / Mawile / Gothitelle. Look for me at Athens regional  ;)

  13. Green says:

Would love to see Matt Vibert’s team in action. Jumpluff love <3

  14. I played against Ziad (Zenithian) in the 6th or 7th round, and although my notes are a pile of chicken-scratch he was running a Rain/Trick Room/Perish Trap team with Gothitelle, Ludicolo, Politoed, Mawile, and I believe Zapdos and Hariyama. Also, I got to meet and hang out with Matt Vibert at the tournament (nice guy and a very creative player) and he was running double mega (Slowbro and Alakazam), so a little addendum to throw onto that listing.

This was my first VGC event and I was fairly happy with how I did, going 7-2 but unfortunately bubbling (18th) out of top cut, thanks in part to a deserved last round of Swiss loss to Dave Mancuso. Great job to everyone who cut, and shout out to Matt, Terry, Chris, Donovan, and all the other guys who I met at the tournament.

  15. FlashSentry says:

So is Mega-Banette gonna be like the new Pachi?

  16. YummyKittys says:

The top 2 from seniors were 1. Carson S. (Dorian06) using a team of Sylveon, Bisharp, Breloom, Talonflame, Kangaskhan and Kingdra mega was Kangaskhan 2. Abel G. (YummyKittys) using a team of Salamence, Terrakion, Gengar, Bisharp, Heatran and Zapdos mega was Salamence also I’m only 99% sure Carson S. Is Dorian06 if Dorian06’s profile page is accurate with things such as location

  17. Nucleose says:

So so curious about Matt vs team, Audino in particular

  18. Eltrain says:

This was a really fun event. As my first VGC regional I felt like I did OK with a 5-4 finish. I got a tons of experience and met a lot of cool new people. Also i played Jeremy Cua in the 8th round. He was running Mega Metagross/ hydreigon/ suicune/ Lando T/ Terrakion/ mega venusaur.

  19. EstiloDM says:

I’ve played Mat before on battlespot using the exact team.

You sir, you are very creative, I still have that one match recorded to see how well prepared your pokemon and how I didn’t see many things comming. Your team is devious.

I couldn’t watch the stream of this event but I’m so suprised and amazed with some pokemon, mega bannette as well, i’ve run it in the past with no much success and now to think a team with it made it to top 1 😀

  20. archimom says:

Juniors results would be great, if anyone knows…

  21. ZekromZeke says:

So close making it to top cut at 17th place, GG to all nonetheless.

  22. Garchamp says:

If these recent regional results are anything to go by, I think we’re in for a crazy time at this years worlds!

  23. Shabok says:

    Heck yeah alakazam.

  24. bombe32 says:

I’m happy this was streamed and I got to see a couple of Pokemon that I had been considering to use myself in action (Banette, Gourgeist, Swampert). Inspiring stuff. But the amount of Clefairy / Clefable in top cut makes me sad. #TeamTogekiss

  25. fxelxy says:

gj to everyone! very enjoyable matches in topcut :]

  26. jacsaz says:

For anyone wondering, matt’s team consisted of setting up trick room with audino, using memento with Whimsicott, then switching in chandelure, simple beaming it with audino, and proceeding to set up minimize, calm mind, and acid armor. The mega slowbro had psych up to copy chandelure’ stat boosts.

He lost in round 9 of Swiss because not only did a scald manage to hit through evasion, but it also critted him making his chandelure faint.

  27. Artemis Flynn says:

    These teams are so beautiful.

I battled something similar on Battlespot. Hitmontop, Chandelure, Slowbro (Calm Mind-Trick Room) – that was game for me.

  30. Pirate Lion Inferno says:

I played against Jeremy Cua the final round of swiss. His team was Mega Venusaur / Mega Metagross / Landorus-T / Terrakion / Hydreigon / Suicune.
