Results from the VGC ’15 Indiana and NorCal Regional Championships

The final regionals of the format are over and we’ve got the results. There is no reason to hold anything back with no events larger than a Premier Challenge left and we’ll have teams from these players later this week! There were 243 Masters and 19 Juniors in Ft. Wayne. San Jose saw 206 Masters, 47 Seniors, and 6 Juniors. Here are the players who made the cut this weekend:

My Sableye was definitely my MVP and was used in nearly all battles.  Between burning opponents and lowering their Special Attack with Snarl it was getting the job done.

Not to say I wasn’t happy with how my Umbreon performed but… I just realized Sableye has higher SpA. Heh. Woo STAB Snarl!

At least Charm is 100% accurate and it stacks with WoW from other team members, so I got that going for me I guess.

I’m pretty happy about my performance since my last event not counting premier challenges was the LCQ. My Sableye was definitely my MVP and was used in nearly all battles. Between burning opponents and lowering their Special Attack with Snarl it was getting the job done. My last round the person I was facing had a blinking red 3ds and I had the option of allowing us to sit at an outlet. I had come to play so I agreed to it. I’d rather get a pure win instead of one on a technicality.

I finished in 19th with a 6-2 record. A couple others from MN did really well.

Ah. I knew you were probably on here lol. Grats on the finish, and I apologize for any salt I had after our match in the premier challenge–although it seemed like a weird choice for our match considering I used wigglytuff on that team lol

  3. King Arceus says:

I just figured you were having a bad day so I didn’t let it get to me.  The main reason I used Sableye that match was because I was expecting Perish Trap and Sableye would help fight that.

  4. I got 14th in seniors @Ft. Wayne.

  5. Zephyl says:

The first place winner at Fort Wayne for seniors was actually Luka T and not Allan X, Allan got second place. I should know, because I am Luka T lol.
