Results from the VGC ’15 Pennsylvania and Arizona Regional Championships
We may not know where Worlds is this season and we might not know what it’ll take to qualify, but one thing everyone knows is that to stand a shot at playing in the event they need to play as high as possible in the events they play in. The first Regional Championships kicked off this month and we’ve got the results for you below. Next week we’ll have the event in Houston, Texas before moving onto San Jose, California and Ft. Wayne, Indiana the weekend after.

Wolfe and Aaron, two highly decorated players, had rough seasons through most of last year, and then as soon as ’15 begins, they end up in the finals of the same regional. Glad to see them finally find comfort in this format.

Philadelphia was tons of fun, pacing in laps around the event floor while waiting for pairings was probably my favorite part. Great way to start off the season, and I can’t wait to see how the next few fall regionals turn out!

I managed to place 18 at Philly today for Masters. So close, but it was fun overall. Congrats to the top cutters on both competitions!
Hey, just made a nugget bridge account, I got 2nd in masters in AZ Regionals, and my name was spelled wrong lol (It’s Stangler, not Strangler)
Philadelphia was my first ever VGC event that I went to and I finished 27th with a 7-2 record. So many of us 7-2’s didn’t Top Cut
but man, this regional was so much fun and I am looking forward to turn my Top 32 finish into better and better results in future regionals and premier challenges
