Shaun Tysoe Wins 4th London Gamerbase Tournament

Shaun Tysoe aka foodking2win has been crowned the 4th London Gamerbase tournament champion! The tournament featured many UK favourites such as Min Datoo (gec), Lee Provost (Osirus), Mohsyn Bharmal (bcaralarm), Michael Oakley (keely), Christopher Arthur (Koryo), Thomas Blakey (tblakey89) and more! But it was Shaun who came out on top in the end, walking away with a winner’s medal and a limited edition Pikachu Nintendo 3DS XL. He defeated Solomon Croffie (Sol64) in what turned out to be a rather one-sided final. Solomon also walked away with a runner-up medal and a copy of the latest Pokémon game. Shaun was the 8th winner from eight Gamerbase tournaments, with no champion being able to replicate their initial success. What’s more, Shaun was able to come back and win the tournament after being seeded 8th after the Swiss rounds. Stay tuned for video of the finals, but for now you can view the brackets here:

Congratulations to Shaun and a big thanks to everyone that came along and made this event happen. Keep your eyes pealed for the next UK fan-run tournament coming early next year!
