  1. Rather interesting to see Therian Thundurus’ usage going up, and Acrobatics Scizor usage going down, but I don’t see too terribly much of a change going on from the last time.

Also, a moment of silence for the brave souls using Sniper Kingdra.

  2. Calm Lava says:

hahaha i can just imagine it being someone who desperately needed those cp for a bye

    “why is my kingdra slower???…………………………………..shit”

A few things surprising me as someone who couldn’t play in the tournament:
    1. The swagger army is ridiculously large.  I didn’t expect Swagger to be on 2 of every 5 Cresselia.
    2. Fling and Stone Edge both are top 10 for Tyranitar while Substitute isn’t anywhere to be seen.  It’s starting to make rounds on the PS server.
    3. Thundurus-T is making a dent.
    4. Helping Hand Politoed becoming significantly more common.
    5. Stupid SD Scizor is absurdly popular.

Points 3 and 4 are pretty interesting in that they’re BW2 stuff that are picking up steam.  With European nationals coming up, I’ll be watching to see how much of it is utilized, Thundurus-T in particular.

  4. Cybertron says:

Amused by the fact Cresselia + all her partners (- Metagross) consist of my Nats team, no surprise they work well together but still interesting to see.

Also I remember when SD Scizor was more of a gimmick than a standard set lol

  5. Hurricane says:

Trick with White Herb on Latios. Since when is tricking White Herb a good thing?

  6. Cybertron says:

The move obviously doesn’t correlate to the item next to it lol, they are completely separate

It was amusing when I was registering my battle box at regionals I peeked over at one of the senior’s DSs. He had a rain team but then he scrolled through his team and it showed Sniper Kingdra 😐

  8. Recon X says:

Man, rain and goodstuff seem to be as popular as ever. I really wish that Nintendo would hurry up and release Lightningrod Zapdos. It would make a perfect edition to my new rain team team considering Lightningrod draws in electric type attacks instead of just absorbing them as with Thundurus T. I quit using Tyranitar long ago, but the prospect of getting weather up first and having a base 130 dark type attack at your disposal is sounding pretty good to me. Of course you’d have to be extra careful around fighting types though….

I’m more interested by the one person who seems to have gone with Light Metal over Clear Body on their Metagross!

Dude best switch in to grass knot aimed at Ttar? Come on! And just run specs with a special set and intim does nothing. B)

  11. Fatum says:

Clear Body would still be better on a special Metagross because Light Metal would make it susceptile to Snarl and Icy Wind, whereas there are hardly Low Kick users who actually need Low Kick to hit Metagross.

(Yes, obvious sarcasm that I answered to. Just wanted to point it out to people who in fact don’t get it, haha…)

As I read the beginning I was like nooooooo way

Then I read the rest, cheers man lol.

    Water Absorb Politoed.

  14. Water Absorb Politoed.

I once fought a team with Water Absorb Politoed and (seemingly) Sniper Kingdra spamming Surf. I have massive respect for them if they did that on purpose and didn’t just misunderstand the point of Politoed+Kingdra lead…
