The Nugget Bridge Major 2 Has Begun: Round 1 Pairings Posted

The first round of the Nugget Bridge Major is now underway. In total 159 players have stepped up to challenge a packed field to become the second Major Champion of Nugget Bridge. There will be 8 rounds of single-elimination play for this tournament. The first round will conclude Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time. Any matches not concluded prior to that time will be judged based on activity or a coin flip depending on the activity level of both participants.

Remember the rules for this tournament:

  • Each match will be played in a best of 3 series, and teams cannot be changed between those games. However, teams can be changed after the conclusion of each round.
  • The current VG Modified Ruleset will be used.
  • Matches can be played on either WiFi or Pokemon Online, however if a battling medium cannot be agreed upon, Wi-Fi must be used. Do not use Pokemon Showdown for round 1!
  • This is not a live tournament, schedule your battles with your opponent before the round deadline.

Anything not covered here will be handled at the discretion of the NBC Major host, makiri.
