VGC ’13 International Challenge: USA vs. Korea

Last week’s VGC ’10 International Challenge was an incredible success, showcasing some amazing battlers and teams over the course of thirteen battles, but there was just something missing… Korea! Nugget Bridge is pleased to be able to announce the second International Challenge of the new year to take place this Saturday January 5th at 9:00 PM EST (GMT -5). Unlike the last International Challenge which resurrected a forgotten metagame, this weekend’s showmatches will be played using the current VG Modified Format, that is the same as all forthcoming events in the 2013 VGC Series. The matches will be Best of Three with the winner of each set taking home a point for their team.

With the announcement of the qualifying process for the Korean National Championships, this will be the first opportunity for many trainers outside of Korean to experience the Korean metagame first hand. You can follow the action live either by following the chat on our IRC channel or by watching the battles streamed live as they happen on the Nugget Bridge Twitch.tv account.
