2013 International Challenge — June
The final International Challenge of the VGC ’13 season is upon us! With 11th to 13th place in North America tied and the live events in Europe over, there has never been as much at stake as there is now. North American players will be trying to get the lead they need to best secure an invite at the US National Championships while players within 10 points of the Top 32 spot in Europe will try to ensure they keep that elusive invite to the 2013 Pokémon World Championships. Additionally, everyone who participates in at least 5 battles and doesn’t get disqualified for disconnecting will receive 5 Apicot Berries, 5 Petaya Berries, and 5 Ganlon Berries.

Yup! GG!
your pretty good for a newbie O.o (assuming that your post count has direct relation to skill, cause most seniors are blabber mouths and have 150+ posts who have been playing for a while xD)
ugh, off to a bad start, got counterteamed by joej m and lost to parahax against pwny person.
ggs thou
^You of all people should know xD
7-1-1 right now, had a nice game against Sylvan from France just now and lost, gg whoever you are
Thanks! I’ve been playing for a while now, but I don’t post much on the forums. I do have some victories under my belt though so I’m not a total newbie. XD
GG!! It was a really intense game!!
and we battle AGAIN xD glhf
This one is going swimmingly so far, three DCs in the first eight games, including one on preview from our very own Abaris in the first game and one from someone who waited until the last second to DC in spite of not having any Pokemon that were actually level 50 a few games later. I’ve dodged bullets pretty well to at least have 24 CP off the Wi-Fi thingers so far but kinda wondering if I shouldn’t just quit while I’m ahead and not bother with this one.
Starting out 2-0 with my super secret strong team, Daniel from Virginia as usual.
Came back and won about five games and lost the last match due to some bad Thunder Wave-ness, and that’s a good time to stop for the night.
Had a very nice game vs Asator that I saved, luckily for me metagross didn’t have protect
Rating: 1619
Record: 10-0-2 (W-L-DC)
Stopping there, might play some more in the following days, but I probably won’t play a ton.
goatee from CT in this again, mainly doing this for the berries at least at this point.
Just had a nice battle with <3csumgs (1590 Rating). That has to be someone here, right?
How much HP did your last mon have left? Also, are you going to upload the battle, cause if you do not, then I’ll save and upload it.
yeah that was me, it had 7 hp. Really close battle haha came down to your life orb. You can go ahead and upload it, people should definitely see it!
I got a bit lucky with the crit Icy Wind and I was thinking of trying to double Protect, but that’s corny as hell.
Here is the battle video if anyone wants to watch it (External).
woah who is anthony with 163X points and an awesome team of latias latios ampharos terrakion breloom mitotic? O.o
Please don’t start carrying out arguments in this thread, talk man to man and sort it out. No one else cares.
Just played a 1465 guy from Australia who Ice Punch froze my Tyranitar which didn’t thaw for 5 turns and I missed 2 Draco Meteors. I somehow won…
no offense, but how is this a bad thing? I have an account in Masters and find that most of the Seniors competition is easier…
**you’re (also blabber mouth D: )
EDIT: as for my standings in the actual comp:
ENG: 2-0-0
JPN: 1-1-0
So far 8-0 with one disconnection, at 1596 since it hasn’t updated since my last win, can’t believe I’m doing well with the team I’m using
EDIT: 14-0-1 with 1660 ( awaiting update )
Probably the best start I’ve had to a Wi-Fi tourney in a while.
Had my usual loss on the first battle, then won the next
2024 games. The best part is that my D/C rate is a grand total of 0.24-1-0, 1741. As of this post.
Just finished my second battle lost my first one but one the second
Just started
Whew my third battle was a close one. For anyone who wants to see it, the video number is: 79-75229-12534
11-1-3 right now. 1622 points.
Wow. Everyone time I beat someone with a higher rating than mine, they DC :/
In any case, I might or might not play a few games, depending on how EV’ing and movesetting goes along.
in the meantime, you can pm me with whatever battlevideos you might have, max 2 per person unless theres so few of course.
At 1634 due to playing a ton of inexperienced players!
