see yo guys on the wifi

    Thomas from south africa.

i have no idea what my message is

  2. TKOWL says:

Played about seven games this morning but every single person has been an extremely competent player and lost a few games due to horrid hax. Because of this I don’t think my rank changed at all from last night lol

  3. Had one loss and two disconnects so far. Probably can’t be bothered to play a decent number of matches this time.

That last match was really weird though; bog standard Politoed/Kingdra/Thundurus-T/Scizor. I don’t really have a dedicated rain counter on this team, so I wasn’t sure I could win… but first turn, he double switches, so I get a free hit and tailwind up… Second turn, he double switches again, so I get two more free hits in. Then the internet died.

    Strange…

At 14-2 and about 1620 something. Not had a single DC yet. What is this!?

  6. joej m says:

    20-4-3 with 1645 points
I am finding a huge difference between the masters IC i entered before and now the senior IC. In seniors almost every team looks like a VGC 12 worlds team or that team that half the japanese people use consisting of: Tyranitar Gastrodon Thundurus Volcarona Cresselia Metagross.

EDIT: oh yeah then there are those rain teams… and almost all of them suck.

Not much better for me up in Masters at least, nearly 75% of my games so far have been against rain, except it’s the Politoed Kingdra ones that know what they’re doing

  8. P1rateKing says:

ive had 1 good person out of the 6 ive played he led thundurus excadrill. and i tried to taint wit my tornadus. didnt expect a disquake combo haha but made a comeback so was all good.

6 wins out of 6. and everyine plays wit emboar and electivire haha

  9. Thowra says:

Is anyone having trouble finding opponents? I’ve been stuck at the ‘searching for opponents’ page for more than five minutes now :(

I am talking about the ferraligator jolteon ones xD

EDIT: @throwa go to home screen of the game then reenter. I think it is like a server glitch or something… idk

  11. P3DS says:

Well, Just finishing off my team, then I’ll join you folks =] masters btw  :D
Had to quickly EV train some old poke’s up, and quick. Well, Hopefully i can beat my previous record of 430th (and that team wasn’t RNGed shockingly enough)

EDIT: Trained, now to finalize moves, then see you lot there. if you see me: In-game phil from NW England

  12. mookiedog says:

currently 10-1-1 and my rating is around 1600

didn’t face anything too special yet but I’m glad that I’m getting way less dc’s compared to the last few IC’s
I already got 4 people forfeit instead of dcing when they were about to lose plus I also faced a 1775 japanese dude early on when I was like 1510 who didn’t dc when he was about to lose a couple of points from me.

  13. LPFan says:

    Currently 26-3-10 with 1728 rating.

Despite the poor start, I’ve managed to keep up a 22 game win streak. Hopefully those disconnects won’t DQ me.

  14. I lost to a player that had a chandelure with minimize. Couldn’t hit it once -_-

  15. FamousDeaf says:

9-2-2 or 3 and my rating is 1620ish.
Thowra, I was battled with you in few minutes ago and I was Jackson (white 2). We had a good battle until rock slide decide to missed. I was faced Japanese with ingame team (include Feraligator/Jolteon) and Tyranitar/Cresselia/Gastrodon core.

  16. joej m says:

my internet just went capowpow on me and when i found drizzle boy it DC’d on me…
    @drizzleboy that was an accident… I swear… ;~;

    EDIT: 27-4-5 with 1718 points

  17. Baz Anderson says:

This tournament isn’t going well for me – I just can’t seem to find anyone this afternoon, and a few I have found have disconnected mid-way through. I hope it’s not a problem with my internet…

Maybe I’ll just go out tonight after all… :

  18. mookiedog says:

I think I just played Matty a while ago, gg! Sorry for the meteor mash miss :(

  19. Well just lost my score…

  20. Matty says:

Yeah…the speed tie in the 2nd turn was pretty bad too, but gg, you managed well the advantage!!

  21. Asator says:

Okay Guys, I am Done, so done.
Zen headbutt miss so my metagross can’t kill Swampert, but he me, fully paras probably 100%
Ice beam freeze on my thundurus from cress’ Icebeam, and then I thaw and think I win
BUT NO BRIGHT POWDER CRESS, I AM DONE WITH THIS

  22. can we please NOT use this thread for your whining?

congrats you play pokemon and got pokemon’d I don’t wanna hear your life story about how you got unlucky. and i’m sure no one else does.

  23. P3DS says:

Had my first DC of the day. Jap guy with bog standard rain. He got pissed off when my togekiss and breloom lived through his normal gem explosion. and he failed the KO on togekiss with a mach punch. metagross, sableye, kingdra, breloom.

Now vs Bog standard sand. he may be pissed off at a survival at 1 hp of my rotom after a thunderbolt and a psychic from him.
    Well, he lost…

  24. Thowra says:

Jackson, you have a video? I honestly cannot remember any of my matches lol. What was your trainer message? And whose rock slide missed? Mine or yours? My cresselia’s been a ninja so far, she dodged three rock slides in one battle – was that the one with you?

On a side note, I faced a troll sand team with a sand veil garchomp – its moveset: double team, rock slide, protect, dragon claw. It was paired with a virizion that kept using flash. I suspect it was also holding a brightpowder. @.@ Then my cresselia’s ice beam finally hits it and I get a blue screen >:(

And I also lost to a sableye when I forgot how annoying it could be. wil-o-wisp, swagger, foul play, recover. If I had known that it didn’t have fake out I would’ve double targeted it turn 1, but I thought he’d fake out so I protected the ‘mon that was the biggest threat against his team…only to have its partner get hit by swagger. It all went downhill from there >.<

I am pretty sure you battled me, I am from Australia too. I had Terrakion/Amoonguss against your Volcarona/Abomasnow but my rock slide missed.

Oooh…I think I’m starting to remember – was that the one where I crit’d your terrakion with my abomasnow as well and won the match?

EDIT: hey I just realised one thing (completely irrelevant to the June IC)…with the new fairy type coming out, sableye and spiritomb will actually have a weakness! Ha! Gen 6 VGC will no longer have bulky spiritombs and sableyes running around snarling and swaggering everyone to death.

  27. FamousDeaf says:

Oooh…I think I’m starting to remember – was that the one where I crit’d your terrakion with my abomasnow as well and won the match?

    yep, that’s one

  28. Aren142 says:

Aren from North West England in case anyone runs into me, I’ve already faced one person here. Currently on 10-1 with no DCs, think that puts me around low 1600s. Just been taking this a few games at a time. Casual pace, pressure’s off, people are kind enough not to ragequit, especially given some of the slaughterings I’ve handed out and the Crits, good record early on. I’d say this is the best one of these has gone for me.

  29. Thowra says:

    yep, that’s one

Ah. Yeah…it does suck being on the receiving end of hax. I was actually considering forfeiting, but wondered if at the last minute a rock slide miss could save me. Although I was actually hoping for the miss on volcarona, because my abomasnow was EVd to take at least one rock slide from anything at full health unless the opponent had a helping hand boost.

But yeah, the match would’ve gone to you if I hadn’t gotten the crit on terrakion. Abomasnow wasn’t going to OHKO terrakion, and I had the feeling it was going to be spored…GG though, you had a strong team and outplayed me at nearly every turn.

  30. P3DS says:

How do we know who is who on the GBU, since I could have played one of you and not know it. And for battle videos, is it vs other nugget bridge people or is it interesting videos.
