NPA Draft: It’s finally here
It seems like so long ago since the last NPA that was held a few years back, but we’re finally here going head first into the season of this great tournament. We’ve just concluded the player sign ups with a whopping 220 sign ups (All of which can be found here, and now we have the draft that everyone’s been waiting for.
72 total players will be picked to play on one of the 12 teams we have this season. The managers are already hard at work planning out their draft by arranging draft pick trades with other managers to try and snag who they want as quickly as possible. The draft will occur this Sunday the 25th at 6 pm PDT. There will be a stream of the draft with commentary and even interviews with managers of the teams on the Nugget Bridge Twitch. #npa on IRC will be the place to catch comments and notices for when the everything is going.
If you don’t get to be one of the 72 drafted players, do not fret! There will be a free agents list that will be open all season, along with a minor league for players to showcase their skills in weekly battles. Details for the minor league are being worked on, so stay tuned to the tournaments forum for more info!
Week 1 will start on the 27th to give managers and teams a prep day right after the draft. Get ready because an epic season is about to begin!

Seafoam Islander? I don’t think I even went to Seafoam Island on my first play of RBY. Why does everyone else play for a City/Town while we play for a DESERTED ISLAND?

Seafoam was the only place we could afford a gaming house…I mean gaming cave.
Guess chilling in the free agent pool isn’t too bad, it’s where all the cool cats are anyways.

The islands are pretty cool, I saw Blaine briefly – looks older in real life. Pretty happy with our training grounds for the next couple of months!
